especially when it replace a huge, well-known loved game,
by a huge community.
they released the game early because this community was already unpatient and they simply wanted to gather as much as data and feedback as possible, whats wrong with that?
People said the exact same thing about maps when Valve replaced them with new ones years ago. People called csgo an awful game when it was first released. You will quit the game today and then come back in a month because thats what happens.
Half of the stuff you complained about makes absolutely no sense and you only added them because you wanted to make a long list.
-Baggage absolutely does not look like Nuke and it actually has a personality now
-Old shoots were incredibly dark and ugly
-The new loadout system makes sense since this is a competitive focused game
-Aztec and Dust are not good maps at all, in fact Aztec has to be the worst map in CS history
-There is nothing wrong with lighting and colors, just because you got used to the dark, creepy source engine lightning doesnt mean having an actually bright and alive color pallette is wrong
-Short matches got removed because the matches are already short now
-Majority of the players dont have "low end" computers
-This is a comp focused game and having global elite players that only plays dust Iı 24/7 is absolutely wrong lol
-You dont like premier ranking? Just dont play it?
-Everything is done to please competition fans and professional players because obviously thats what people wants
-danger zone and demolition were already really dead gamemodes anyways, valve simply did not prioritize them for cs2
-new weapons already look better and even if you didnt like it valve literally did not change the models for your skins, you are literally complaining for the sake of complaining
should I continue? the amount of real issues in your post is not more than 4 or 5
I understand it is your opinion, you have your right to talk about it, but facts say your opinion is wrong. Even all those guys who made tons of threads on forums after CS2 release that the game will die very fast, that in December amount of players will down to 300k and so on... all of them were also wrong.
It just happened that your opinion didn't match with opinion of majority. Nothing wrong about that. If you don't like the game, you just find something else you will enjoy.
Because most CS:GO players didn't play it when it came out.
In 2012-2015 CS:GO was just an unplayable bugged mess on a spaghetti code with super broken hitboxes and hitreg. And it took 3 years to make it at least playable.
And people hated CS:GO the absolutely the same way, even pros said that CS series is gonna die with CS:GO because it is that awful.
So actually nothing new here, the story will be always the same every time a new CS series game is released. But it is a sin of most modern games though.
what ever will we do without these things
People only want comptetive now.
It's disgusting.
Popularity does not me it's good.
People play it because it's a F2P game.
I mean, Valve did officially make the 1.6 part. The community made everything else.
And of course it's fun, with a good community
You could also try out squad, which I haven't tried yet
Hell Let Loose is also a great game, but a full session if you want to play until the finish is fairly lengthy. It's nice though you can essentially respawn infinitely it just takes longer for more respawns. It's also waaaaay more tactical. It's a ww2 themed massive group vs group shooter with no crosshair.
yeah, i just want to play cs, that's correct
i don't want valve spending time on meme casual modes, they already waste enough time on skins, zeus etc
think of how many hours people got paid to develop arms race instead of working on something useful for the actual game
saying valve shouldnt work on casual is like saying "they shouldnt work on this game at all". They also dont waste time on skins and zeus. It takes like 5 minutes to add workshop items to the game
People asked for skins, maps and gamemodes and valve is delivering them. What type of "useful" thing are you asking for?
There are tons of F2P first person shooters, but most of them don't even have 1\5 of the number of players that CS2 has.
I was one of them.
I have a $24k inventory.
I'll sell them when I'll need money.
