If your teammate is busy fighting you should be peeking with them to make the fight a 2vs1 or at the very least peek shortly after your teammate has died so you can trade the kill.
If you just watch your teammate dying and don't even attempt to go for a trade kill people will call you a baiter.
They're complaining that you let them die and then just stood there instead of peeking with them.
Thanks!
It's more clear for me now.
And if someone just waits until their teammates are dead on purpose I call it trolling.
Anyway, OP, if you're getting kicked often, just play with at least one friend who won't let others to kick you.
Sometimes it's even favourable to bait your teammates and let them die but you should communicate that.
they don't like how you play, so they accuse you of baiting and votekick you
then they play out a 4v5 game that they probably lose (probably one of them realizes they were scammed a couple rounds later and starts angrily tking, then you have 3v5)
in reality you might be playing "too safe", and actually baiting them at times when they push, but they aren't going to help you get better by explaining that
there's also a really good chance they're kids with bought accounts rushing and ego challenging everything with their deagle, expecting you to follow them in and act as bait (the other definition) ... they get upset when you just sit on site watching the bomb and the clock waiting for the win like an actual cs player
the votekick system ruins this game for new players because of stuff like this, it's only when you get a bit better and start easily carrying these bad players that they stop votekicking you (then you have to vote no as they try to votekick whoever is 5th on the scoreboard for made up reasons)
the same thing happens with saving, playing for picks etc - at lower skill levels, people think you have to rush in against a 5v1 on site with your awp when your team is up rounds, so when you don't they get mad and votekick you
