cant get black bars working on cs2 with amd?

I tried doing preserve aspect ratio like a lot of the tuts say and it didn't work... does anyone have a fix for this? im really used to playing back bars cause of CSS and CS1.6

i know this is old but whateva, its still an issue with AMD software:

Remove CS2 from "games" section add it manually. Its located in <cs2-steam-folder>\game\bin\win64\cs2.exe and just add the preserve aspect ratio.

I suppose AMD software still thinks its CSGO or smth. idk. this worked for me.

p.s you might get that "cant join vac servers" warning, just reload the game.
