Maximum elo difference to play Premiere with friends?
After the update, an unranked friend cannot queue up with me in Premiere mode, so I'm curious what rank he has to get to play with 15k-16k? And generally what maximum difference in elo is possible to play together?

If both players haven't won their first 10 matches and thus don't have a visible rating, they should still be able to play together initially. However, once they start earning a rating, the maximum allowable Elo difference becomes important.

For a duo queue, the maximum Elo difference allowed is 5,000. So, if you’re sitting at 15k, your friend needs to be at least 10k to queue with you. For larger groups or 5-stacks, the difference can be up to 10,000.

Keep in mind that if either of you has a hidden rating (based on your unranked matches) that is too far apart, it might prevent you from queuing together as well.

Hope this helps clear things up

The first paragraph is wrong I guess. I played duo queue with a friend and after our 8. or 9. win we couldn't play together anymore. We both got a rank and we were the same +-100 points so it wasn't like our ranks were hidden and 5k elo apart.

Just tested out if I could play with my friend, he was 3.7k I was 12. something K. It worked, but suddenly when I qued with a lot of silver ranks it didn't work, I think the average difference is what matters the most

I have 6 wins and was playing with the same 4 people for a few matches and after our 3rd win and most of them had 4-6 wins, I was no longer able to queue with them but no rankings for any of us yet. I wonder if our projected ranks are too far apart??

Would love if we had some proper ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ information about this stuff instead of the one automated message....
10k is max elo difference, if they cant play, that means they don't have calibrated elo yet
