Is there even a point to playing premier?

This is 2 times in a row in different days where I have players walling so hard, it might as well be non-prime matchmaking. Like I've never seen this game end up in such a dumpster fire because of a skill issue with devs. Lack of effort, care, or even pride in this game and the fact that someone had to pull the trigger to downgrade CSGO to this ♥♥♥♥? Literally lowest of the low, that now I respect Rainbow 6 Siege devs more than this because at least they're actually keeping up with their release quota every season.

I don't see any cheaters, VAC is working fine, bans cheaters.

So you're implying that only premier has cheaters? when literally every mode has the same anti-cheat and settings (overall)?

Yeah, I've been having the same issue... and people who say they don't see cheaters are oblivious to the reality sadly... not saying every game has a cheater, because sometimes you find a full pre-made team that actually play legit, but most times you can also find a full pre made team full of cheaters or with at least one cheater included giving everyone info and so on... I've been saving the demo's from suspicious matches and 95% of the times when I rewatch it, they are indeed cheating...
I even had a situation where I was playing with my own premade team, we faced a team with 2 cheaters so we all ended up trying super hard so we wouldn't lose, and these cheaters reported all of us just because they were super mad about losing while using cheats lul but then again, you could tell by their movement or the way they were holding angles for no reason or pushing a site that was free without any information... me and another friend ended up losing our trust factor because of the reports because the exact game after we were facing red messages in lobby saying our trust factors were low... LOL so clearly the wrong spectrum of players are being punished for these hackers.

Ive come to the conclusion that many players of this game, especially the new ones, just simply are not good enough, yet, to know who is walling and who is legit.

I avoided premier because I knew it was going to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, I actually didnt think cheaters would be the reason I stayed away.

At first it was doing that wonky stuff giving people 250 points for a win and taking a 1000 when they lose. I dont hear many people complain about that now.

But holy moly premier mode is something else, Im guessing this really appeals to these people for some reason. I know part of the reason many of them hack is just so they can ruin someone else's day.

And unfortunately for the few who keep decrying "trust factor!". Trust factor does not stick you in a different rank, so ultimately what the ♥♥♥♥ does it really achieve in a game mode like premier. Valve is wild lately, with what they are doing with dota 2 trying to ban smurfs instead of cheaters. And this feels like they arent even trying.

Im still waiting to see if valve has a ace up their sleeves, but how long will it take?

Tried playing premier one time and didn't like the whole points thing, competitive is far more enjoyable and you get a cool rank icon it's just a shame that actual ranks got replaced by some low budget looking numbers, also sad that ranks are different on every map. Never going to touch premier again.

For those who say you don't come across cheaters and that VAC is working, it's not as simple as that. Some regions have way more cheaters than others. Also, VAC does not ban cheaters right away in most cases, they do it in ban waves which means you get to play with those cheaters that are not so obvious until they get banned eventually. The game is in the worst state now with cheaters, you're just lucky you are not a high enough rank or live in a region where there's not that many players cheating/playing. Premier has cheaters, look at the top ranks that have gotten banned, they can just make a new account and do it again - what a great system.

Aside from that I get accused of cheating all the time by players that have 50 hours in the game lol so there is truth to both arguments I guess. I just report when I feel that someone is obviously 100% cheating, otherwise I don't because sometimes they're just having a good game and/or just have good gamesense.

So yeah, VAC is ♥♥♥♥ because they just get a new account - pay $15 and they're back. Trust me, if they paid hundreds of dollars for a cheating software they are more than likely to afford $15 every time they get VAC'd which if they are good at closet cheating might never happen.

IMO just try to play something else. you're giving your time to VALVE which in my opinion doesn't really care. Look at other companies like Riot Games and Apex. When you get banned in Apex your Hardware ID is banned so you need to change hardware in your PC to be able to play again and I'm sure they can still know that's the same PC that was banned. Their anti-cheats are invasive meaning they have all your hardware information. I small price to pay to be able to play the game cheater free. Yeah there are always going to be cheaters but CS2 is getting out of hand.

Also, look at FaceIt and such, but those are full of try-hards that will roast you if you make a small mistake. + they are not free.

What I do is play CS2 as a pastime, whenever I'm bored I just go into a casual game to eat sh!t and that's it. If there is a cheater that pisses me off I just leave and go do something else, they're actually making me more productive in life lol.
