*POSSIBLE FIX?* CS2 FPS DROPS & STUTTERING [LATEST UPDATE]

Hi, i think i found a fix for the latest update of cs2 which became a headache for lots of players either with high tier o low tier pc's. i do clarify that i tried lots of thing that may either work or not for you, at the bottom i'm gonna leave what fixed it for me

I tried all the options below 👇🏻

+Changed screen resolution

+changed video quality

+streamlined push to talk yes/no

+fps_max 999, fps_max 0 or capped to monitor refresh rate

+tried without any autoexec

+Rate100000

+CS2 LAUNCH options turned on/off with commands

+ -high -threads 9

+Fully uninstalled game (including remaining folders on steam)

+Double checked power plan is set to maximum performance & used quick CPU to unpark any core

+Run game without variable refresh rate enable, game mode or resizable bar

+Force windows to run the game with gpu

+Tried the new buffer over to smooth packet loss option

Game was tested in 2 SSD (different brand and models), tested in both windows 11 stock and AtlasOS.

Only thing that helped me was :

*using DDU to uninstall GPU driver and downgrade to adrenaline 23.1.1 (FOR AMD USERS)
*Go to your counter strike 2 file folder, should be:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike GlobalOffensive\game\bin\win64

Select cs2.exe >properties >compatibility >change settings for all users >change high dpi settings > mark on "override high dpi scaling behaviour. scaling performed by >application

hopefully this helps lots of people and valve decide to fix the performance and cheater issue they have;

Hey, which AMD Gpu do u have? I have an RX 6600 and I have the same problem, couldn't fix it so far, tried basically everything except the 23.1.1 driver.

I know this reply is very late but I own a 7900 XTX, been using amd pro drivers (24.Q2) and experience is solid

The stuttering problem after 38 min of playing will be fixed by exactly this startsparameter: LD_PRELOAD="" %COMMAND%
