Boycott steam!
Vote with your wallet. Stop spending on steam until they correct their anti consumer policies. Be vocal about your not spending a cent there anymore. Let the movement gain traction. It's the only way they will learn.

No like what exactly is anti-consumer in their policy?
They refuse to protect or even investigate cases where their paying customers have been quite obviously scammed. They protect hackers and scammers more than they protect their honest paying customers.
I kinda agree with you I personally think they should trust players who give more info e.g telephone number, credit card, ID and stuff. But I don't think they PROTECT scammers and hackers I guess they just have other things to do.

This would be great but It may be "beyond the pines" as they say.

They deserve nothing and don't care at all about their paying customers. When Gaben doesn't have cash in his bank account anymore he will lose weight and his brain fog will clear very quickly I promise.
okay well good luck with that.

I don't think I'm the only one that feels bullied by Steam for being an honest player/customer. If you feel the same way then vote with your wallet. They don't deserve a cent of anyone cash and certainly wont see another cent of mine.
as if cs2 devs directly connected with steam devs and know about steam income

Doesn't matter. If Steam sees their income falling they will look into it and hopefully find a lot of bullied customers getting their own back by not supporting them monetarily. That will make them change their evil strat.

From my point of view their refund policy is super generous.

Wait until someone hacks you and your things are still lying in the hackers inventory. The absolutely can get your things back or at least investigate. They don't and they will lose far more from me not spending on the platform than I ever lost in items stolen.

steam accounts aren't "hacked", they get hijacked after the account owner gives out the login information.

Sure, mistakes can be made. What steam choose to do after the fact is appauling. Am I really the only one that feels this way?
