Not all people know they are right eye (or left eye) dominant.


in layman terms you want to have the model of the weapon on the opposite side of your dominant eye to clear the dominant side up. If you are right eye dominant you want the gun on the left and if you're left eye dominant you want the gun on the right.

So maybe does have an impact? Explanation in video below to help find your dominant eye to play better and aim better :D

nah sorry man that is the one thing stopping me from playing this game because I am blind in my left eye so having a gun blocking the right side of my screen is annoying

edit: only partially blind in left eye still hard to see though

Some people may argue that it makes the game more accessible, and I'm here for it. In addition to that it's about preference, like FOV's, crosshairs keybinds etc. Valve shouldn't remove features from a game that it was a thing just a year ago. Personally, it really did help me when I had that option.

I find my aim goes down quite considerably using right hand only being right eye dominant.
