Turning off the XP Overload icon

Does anyone have any idea how to turn off the XP Overload icon?
It doesn't serve any game function and I'd like to remove meaningless stuff as much as possible.

It has a meaning. It's to psychologically discourage playing for long periods of time.

Unless there is a cVar to disable it (and even then VALVe servers won't disable it) then you'll just have to deal with it or leave.

Does your AUG Contractor count as a game function?
