Ban Cheaters On Hardware, Not Only Account Ban !!

Instead of ban cheaters on VAC account, please do a hardware ban so they cannot make a new account. Win Win for everyone ! More players would actually play CS2 and old players coming back to play.

i think there are cheats out there that make or do < not sure> where cheats are not on the computer they are using and injects it somehow , dunno, so they are safe to cheat with out getting detected .. here is a video that explains that sorta ..

Hardware ids can be spoofed and changed almost as easily as an IP can.

However, it is a hassle if you are asking the cheat provider to change your account HWID every single time. It is better than nothing.

thats not how it works the cheat provider would have nothing to change,
on most consumer PCs there's nothing that's actually unique on your hardware that can either be read via software or can't be easily changed,

Pretty much every service that attempts to hardware ban just generate a rough ID from combination of device ID's. Same as how windows activation servers treat your system, And just like windows activation changing like 2 IDs in software makes your PC appear as new.
and there are plenty of apps on the internet that can do this with the click of a button.

Or just run some scripts off of github that makes some changes to windows to spoof ur ID upon every reboot,

HWID changers / spoofers are a thing, this wouldn't really fix anything

IP addresses are limited, so those change every month.

Those who buy IP address have static IP, like big companies.

How they know who is using which graphic cards on their game then? they already gather data from your machine the moment you connect to a game.

The biggest problem with hardware ban is that it can be spoofed and unexpected victims can buy the computer secondhand. Also having hardware ban when you do not have a kernel driver as anticheat protection will just be a big joke since any kid on the net will be available to learn from youtube how to bypass an non-protected software ;-D


And those asking about ip-bans i hope you are trolling ;-D otherwise research how internet is working
