Why gun games aren't back ?
All is in the title...

I don't understand why such a popular game mod isn't in CS2.
Sometimes I liked to launch the game just to play this game mod
I was wondering if anyone had any information about the possibility of the return of gun games.

This is a serious topic though simple in context, so if you intend to troll, it will be for nothing because it's not interesting.

Thank you for those who will contribute positively to the development of this topic

Because Valve is garbage and refuses to update this game anymore.

I really hope it's not just for that reason, but what I really don't understand is that it wasn't introduced in CS2 from the start.

We haven't had an actual content update in over a month. Not even the tiniest of updates. I'm starting to think Valve knows they can update only update a few times a year, if that, and people will still play and pay them endless amounts of money.

CS2 released in an very dry state, and is missing a lot of things that were present in the original version. It doesn't hold a candle to CS:GO's launch, and they're probably not going to reintroduce a lot of the old modes because they are focused on the competitive side of CS2. That generates a lot of money and attention.

We haven't received "new" (aka. old, from CSGO) content since the game released almost half a year ago. It's a mere shell of what the game used to be, and even the very limited content that's there is extremely and fundamentally broken in so many different ways

It's going to take years until this game feels even remotely as polished as CSGO felt

That's a shame but it's real, otherwise I don't see why they wouldn't have put back Gun games since then.
