16:9 VS 4:3

guys anyone else feel the same? I played CSGO for years 4:3 stretched...
4:3 in CS2 feels laggy... 16:9 feels smoother even with lower fps.

Resolution scaling could be causing input lag for you. Check your driver settings to see whether scaling is being handled by the GPU or display, then try swapping to whichever option isn't in use and see if things improve.

Both options can cause additional input latency depending on your hardware configuration; using native resolution is the best way to negate this possibility.

16:9 probably runs better because it doesn't need to scale and stretch the image. Native resolutions and aspects are always superior.

4.9 is used by poor poor people, if you have a 1920x monitor and 27 inches, of course you will play in 16:9, why spoil the picture for yourself.

I've only played with 16:9 because if I switch to 4:3 then I can't set Hz to 144
