Popular streamer bragged about cheating
I was playing with a popular streamer. I won't mention any names because naming and shaming results in a ban. Not sure how one can shame someone for cheating as I thought cheating was unethical, that's Valve logic I guess. Anyway this person was giggling and laughing and bragging how she has so many followers and uses so much "donation" money from her streams to buy skins and crates and gets her followers to do the same that Valve would never ban her.

She proceeded to make it obvious she was wall hacking and kept saying nothing will ever happen to her. So I kept an eye on her profile for a while and she still isn't banned, I will still keep an eye out but at this point it's Valve makes large profits someway on the cheaters based upon this clear evidence. If they didn't you can all bet your butts that they would easily put little effort into making an efficient anti-cheat system.

If the cheat you're using is undetected and you're not spinning, you literally CANNOT get banned right now (things have been like this since ~late 2020 / early 2021 when overwatch stopped banning people)

Cheating and lying goes hand in hand, same with other toxic traits like bragging. Most cheater are buying viewer, likes, subs etc. so just ignore these pathetic beeings.

You know why? Cause moderators/Valve/Steam employees were tired of getting banned.
Proof?

If you watch most of the cheaters' streams you'll quite often see that they flex their cheats as a way to feel better about themselves. So just awful people acting awful, nothing new.

It's a big joke and the only people who really care, the people who don't cheat, are made fun of and gaslit.

It sucks.

Valve´s method of dealing with cheaters is not the best, well not in my case, because it allso hits me ! :steamfacepalm:
Please stop fighting. We must unite. Valve wants use to be separated. United we are strong!

Hi tjiter.

I am the best cs player ever. I don't write it on my profile, I write it in my name even.

I was so good a player at netcafés, early 2000's, that I got into so many physical altercations with so many of "those" people. More than 10 times. I got banned from physical netcafées cause they thought I cheated. They never proved it. They even had surveillance cameras they looked at to see if I cheated. They never could prove I cheated, they still "thought" I cheated.

I am the course of several police vehicles coming to shut down "a little tumbling" in many different netcafés. Just because I was so good.

What usually happened was I got banned from the café or the angry people didn´t come back. Unfortunately the angry people, the most angry I remember, was also in bed with the owners of the cafées. Usually how it is.
I would LOVE for their to be a net-cafe that hosted CS2 tournaments.

I wouldn't let ANYBODY have any access to even their own steam account. You'd be on my rules, fully locked down, and I'd have a key logger to monitor anybody I wanted to real time.

Well it is kinda true, everyone that is against cheating has been banned for saying it loud on this forum and that is wrong !

I think name and shame should be allowed, when there is hard evidence that the person is cheating in the game, otherwice Valve is protecting the cheaters !

Im not talking about people playing very very good with talented flickshots and stuff like that, im talking about all them cheaters that abuse the hit registration hacks and damage mods to avoid getting killed, while they abuse wallhack and sometimes aim stuff at the same time !
Nobody who is against cheater got banned. People get banned for all sorts of stuff.
- naming and shaming
- false accusations
- spamming
- non constructive arguments
- insulting
- baiting

The same 3-5 user who constantly get banned are the same who do exactly these things and these player are all hard stuck silver player with bad personal stats who all drastically overestimate their skill. You are a good example. Silver forever, 0.6 kd, livestreaming where everyone sees how poirly your gameplay is and then you do cheat accusations against people who are as bad as you bit killed you once.

This wouldn't even be a problem if you guys were able to learn but you repeat the same non sense over years now.

Maybe don't call yourself "the best cs player" on your profile and finally accept your skill and knowledge and learn from more experienced and better player.

But why am I even suggesting that? Thousands of people said that to you hundreds of times over years and you are still standing on the dame position. Repeating the obvious won't change you. You are stuck and will never change.
I think Maxe very well could be one of the best players in the world. I know he's better than any person who cheats.

And this is how all tournaments are hosted. Even in 2000 this was the case. Minus the steam account because at some point it was necessary to have steam accs but it wouldn't change anything.

You can't even determine who plays how good which we discovered over a year ago already. You can't look at a few second clip and understand only based on movement and crosshairplacement if a player is already good or not. Maxe streamed and people were bursting out laughting because he is so low skilled. It is THAT bad.

And while cheater are obviously bad human beeings it doesn't automatically mean that every cheater is worse than him in terms of skill. A lot of cheater are still better player. That's like you claim someone who runs the 100 meter in 12 seconds is a worse runner than maxe who needs 17 seconds just because that 12 second runner is cheating by tripping someone over while running. Your logic is the logic of a teenager if you are really here saying "cheater = automatically bad player". You don't consider that a lot of people who cheat still have the mechanics and/or aim and probably experience to be better than maxe (which isn't hard). If the best player starts cheating now he is still the best player, he just became a bad human. So cheater = bad human? Yes. But cheater = bad player? Not necessarily. A lot of cheater prove to be good. They just cheat to enjoy the misery of others more than winning a fair game.

Who cares, they just unbanned everyone today.
I keep a list with ragehackers I encounter, 4 of them just got unbanned after being banned for a couple of weeks.

Xactly. It should be 12 clean PCs. Newly bought. Xactly the same.

The majority of cheating problems started when Steam was introduced, or, lets say, internet to LANs. I remember how low IQ move it was with forcing everyone on Steam - on lan. Made no sense. Our LANs where we had no internet was a whole different game, felt better. Probably becaus the cheaters were shakin' and loosin'.

We can just look at the case of kqly who cheated in a giant LAN tournament, firmware on the mouse or something.

As a good commentator wrote: "u/the_c0ncept said it best in 2019: "the pro-scene has been hvh for years"

nobody wants to face this reality. so they're allowed to cheat."
I agree that steam was bad back then and the good ol lan parties with no won were king.

But in any respectable tournament people play with fresh build hardware. Imagine claiming that "the pro scene is hvh for years" while said professional player use:
- fresh build pcs
- have anti cheat admins behind them 100% of the time, not just while playing, but also while setting up themselves
- have millions of people watching them and if they'd do a tiny mistake people would realize it. But none does beside a hand full of people who scream "cheater!" against everyone anyway.

There are only two types of people who claim pro gamer do hvh:
- Either they're absurdly low skilled
- and/or they are trolls

Since you don't have any matches uploaded and we know that you've at least 3 accounts trolling every day in the forum and have a lot of bans you're at least a troll, maybe even both.

Really annoying that those who have the least amount of knowledge are the loudest in the room.

They bring their own hardware. Let me ask you, do you let just *anyone* plug a USB device into any of your work computers?

It's the easiest vector to compromise a computer. Ever heard of Stuxnet? Scientist in parking lot finds USB drive on the ground. Starts using it between his work computer and home computer. Hmmmmm. HMMMMMM.

Nope, wait, good old Ray says we can trust pro's and we don't have to worry about anybody cheating. NOTHING TO SEE HERE. Carry on.

Hamsterpeek, there is no logic or reason these people will listen. Just hush. Let them have their delusions so they can feel better about themselves.

It's always the same. Silvers calling cheats everytime someone wallbangs, prefires, uses common sense or audio ques in CS.

If I can make a play like this and do it without cheats, I think I have a pretty good grasp on how the game works.
