Constantly crashing

1k hours in CS:GO no such problems.

Now crashing at least once in 2/3 games. Most of the time it's when something is happening like bomb explosion, shooting, kill, death, end of the round, end of the game. I can't even end the process, I have to restart PC or log out.
i3-8100, GTX 1660, 16 RAM, drivers always up to date.

i have crashing problems too, but mine is usually crashing at the beginning of the round...and nothing happens, just the game closes...like you press alt+f4

I solved my crashing problem using the command at game startup -threads x (number of cores on your processor)
ex: -threads 4

In the sound settings I deactivated perspective correction and activated press to speak simplified.

I tested it in 7 premiere games and it only happened once

Sometimes I can play 3 games nothing happens also, then 1 game I can crash as many as 3 times. Maybe the command will help a bit, I'll check.

2 days ago i played 6 CS2 games, 3 competitive, 3 casual no freezing, no crashing. Yesterday i played 3 casual games in all 3 my game froze and crashed... Today i didnt even open the game...

CS2 is a game, but also a statement of the incompetence of its developers.
I've tried everything.... all different settings and suggestions from people... it won't stop crashing. Its just a buggy mess. Brainless monkeys can produce more stable games.

Valve optimization the game on 5 Threads
Not 4 Threads as they said
So any CPU have 4 Threads the game will crash whole he playing
I send to valve support about this problem
And they said that CS2 will not work on Low End PC in future
And you must upgrade PC
So dont wait from Valve to fix this problem because they didnt admit joke optimization

yes with drx 11 i have 6 crash in 1h of casual, deathmach...if i change on -vulkan it fixed but it not fun to ply

But I play with 4 friends and none of the crash like me they don't have better set up, we always reserve pauses for me crashing. Ocasionally one of them will dc once in a while.

Anyone have CPU 4 Core / 4 Threads
Like Core i5 7Gen or lower or i3 9Gen or lower also the same for AMD CPUs
They will get crash when CPU usage reach 100% (Almost the same)

At least get CPU 4 Core / 8 Threads
But if you want more stable gameplay take 6 Core / 12 Threads

I know that if I had better CPU I would have no problems, I also can't play Warzone, PUBG, Tarkov, RDR2 without heavy stutters because of it. But at the same time it just means devs are making less and less well optimised games. I can play GTAV, Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Dishonored 2 (all super high quality games) on high, but those games are well made.
