My CS2 server is disappeared from the Community List.
Hello,

My community server for CS2 that I have created seems to disappear from the community lists after a certain period.

During the first week, my server with the IP address 78.189.89.77:27015/ appeared on official lists and was easily found by other players. Everything was working perfectly.

However, as of today, despite "no changes whatsoever to the server," it no longer appears on the lists, and users are unable to find the server.

Additional information:

-There are no plugins on the server that could cause this issue.
-The server operates in an original, loyal, and straightforward manner.
-The server is online and playable; users can connect by entering the IP address, even though it doesn't appear on community lists.

In essence, there is no issue with the server's accessibility or functionality, and the settings remain unchanged. It simply does not appear on your community lists.

In the past, I encountered a similar situation and resolved it by creating a new GSLT code and reinstalling the server from scratch. However, it seems that the same problem is occurring again.

Does anyone have an idea about what might be the problem?

maybe your server got DDOSed, or something similar to that situation, there is some kind of cheats that allows cheaters to gain admin access by kicking everyone including the admin so they can copy your IP and steamID+name.

You need to double check if you GSLT token is still valid and the server is using it. Look in your console logs and check if there are any gslt errors. Also set the gslt token in your launch options +sv_setsteamaccount *******
and set it in your server.cfg sv_setsteamaccount ******.

really ? is this a thing i hope its not.

Because i'm hosting this server at home with my personal hardwares.

Any solutions that i can prevent that ? I'm actively running a firewall as well in my network too.

The code still remains active, and everytime i restart the server the last logon date "Fri, 19 Jan 2024 14:13:49 +0000" changes as well so i think its okay.

Also in the start parameters sv_setsteamaccount is already have the correct GSLT

ISSUE FIXED!

Tried to hop onto my server using the IP and got hit with a "Your client is out of date" warning.

Running LinuxGSM on an Ubuntu server. What did the trick? Stopped the server and slapped on an update to the SteamCMD files, just like updating any regular game.

Thinking of setting up an auto-check thing for this so I won't have to bother with it next time.

If you're stuck with the same problem, just give SteamCMD or your server's software a little update, I guess. :)

Forgive my ignorance, but are the asterisks where your GSLT goes or your account ID?

yes you can get banned via gslt with your account there are restrictions about the server's plugins like skinchanger or false rank plugins check out here: https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/7580-7BDB-1C9A-AC67#gslt
