Being Shot= screen shakes?
Hi, I was noticing something unusual when I play CSGO today. Whenever I got shot by a teammate or enemy, my screen would shake. I have seen this before and it stopped for a while and now it's back. I find this extremely annoying and uncomfortable. Please, if anyone know what's the issue and knows how to fix it, please let me know in the comment section, thanks and have a good one!

It happens if you get shot in the head (screen doesn't shake if you get shot in the body) and it is intentional by the game. Maybe you just don't get shot in the head much if you play in casual games or at lower ranks?

Hope I helped :)

No it's because you don't have armour, and what you are experiencing is called hit punch.

Hmmmm..... But in casual it doesn't happen? Is this issue only exclusive to comp?
Yes it's when you are not wearing kevlar. In Casual you always have kevlar + helmet.

So is there a way that I can disable this "hit punch"? Because it's extremely annoying ant it just throws off my aim so much that I can't even shoot properly :(
that's why first buy armor, then buy rifle in competitive. If you can't buy both, you will have to save some money. ;)

No, 'aimpunch' is part of the game. Buy kevlar or just don't get hit.

Oh I see, thank you for your reply! However, is there a way to disable it? Because it throws off my aim and I can't shoot properly which makes me a bad player on comp

You disable it by buying kevlar. It's not a game setting, it's a part of the gameplay.
