Buy cheap pink skins and trade up contract for a red ?

Hello, i haven't done a single trade up contract so far, but i at least know that if you take 10 skins of one quality (eg. pink) and do the contract, it will give you a weapon of better quality (in this case, red).

So, my question is, if i go to the market and buy myself the cheapest pink skins available (currently the P250 | Franklin - FT for about 50 cents, altogether around 5 bucks) and do the trade up contract, don't i have a big chance of making profit out of it ? I mean, i could get any red skin (eg. kill confirmed, fuel injector, point dissaray*). All of those skins are pricier than 10 FT Franklins.

*point disarray is pink, thanks for pointing that out, replace it with some other pricy red weapon

The tradeup contract doesn't work that way. It gives you the item with one rarity higher from the same collection.
Franklin is the highest tier item in the Bank collection, so you can't even trade it up.

Ok, does the condition matter ? If im trading up 10 BS weapons, do i also get a BS weapon ?

Point Dissaray is a pink.
