Does a mouse really matter?
What's the difference from a gaming 20 dollar mouse to a 100 dollar gaming mouse? Should I spend 100 dollars for a razor mouse? Will it make me do a lot better in precision? Will I notice a difference? etc.

You won't instantly become good at CS:GO with a more expensive mouse, but it will be far better than a cheap mouse. Also, don't get razer products.

What $100 mouse are you looking at? I've never seen mice that price other than the crazy big MMO mice.

It's nicer to have a light mouse in CS, makes the big mouse movements you'll need to do easier.

A good mouse is going to improve your game, a Razer mouse probably wont.

im just saying in general, a high quality gaming mouse for around 100 dollars not looking at anything in particular if you got any recomendations please leave me some. Im currently using a steelseries mouse pad which is pretty big but i want a bigger one lol but regardless it gets the job done. I'm just looking for something that will be super comfortable after long periods of use and improve my gameplay.

You'll get longer lifespan from a more expensive mouse, don't know about in-game precision across brands as I wouldn't say im anything special at the game to be a brand snob.

I've had mixed experiences with Razer products, owned Razer Boomslangs back in the day when mouses had balls and runners and for the time they were fantastic to use and hold but both failed after a matter of months, build quality was rubbish. At the opposite end of the spectrum I own a Blue and a Pearlescent Razer Diamondback and must have had both knocking on 10 years. Im probably due a replacement but don't really have any complaints, other than the black finish on the mouse buttons showing signs of usage there still good. I got my moneys worth and still continue to use them. Can't comment on the brand nowadays.

Mice with higher DPI are usually more precise on small movements, you will notice this when trying to aim at someone from far away. My mouse (♥♥♥♥♥♥ Microsoft mouse) cant aim precisely on let's say an enemy's head from far away.

Im using steelseries sensei. A mouse will improve your aiming but u need game sense and most importantly a good headset. Headset and game sense complements each other in a way.. U get to hear enemy movement, dance around boxes when defending c4 from ct..

lol, I actually just looked it up on amazon and youtube, lots of people don't like it saying it sounds like sand paper and it's not worth a penny, and overall just a annoying bad mouse.

In all honesty, unless you're not like a Global Elite you wont really need an overly expensive mouse. One for 30 bucks or so so will do the job just fine. I used to have a 13$ mouse and now I have a Roccat Kova 2016 (60$) and I can tell you, the difference is minimal.

Get a logitech M100, you crank the in game sens to 20 and you're set.

If you find a $20 mouse that should be just fine. A $100 mouse and $20 mouse are not that differnet, the $100 one just has more color settings on led. In general just check that the brand is reliable and look at reviews. I have had a $100 razer deathadder 2013 that has worked perfectly for a few years. I also have tried steelseries mice and logitech and pretty much anything aside from a dell default mouse is about the same.

What matters in a gaming mouse is quality, not prize. For CS you don't want the cheapest mouse, but you also don;t need the most expensive. Just look for reviews, there are some really good budget game mice.
