It's nicer to have a light mouse in CS, makes the big mouse movements you'll need to do easier.
I've had mixed experiences with Razer products, owned Razer Boomslangs back in the day when mouses had balls and runners and for the time they were fantastic to use and hold but both failed after a matter of months, build quality was rubbish. At the opposite end of the spectrum I own a Blue and a Pearlescent Razer Diamondback and must have had both knocking on 10 years. Im probably due a replacement but don't really have any complaints, other than the black finish on the mouse buttons showing signs of usage there still good. I got my moneys worth and still continue to use them. Can't comment on the brand nowadays.
