overwatch - majorly disruptive

Hey so one of my friends gave me his steam account since he doesnt really use it anymore so i can play with my friend who is a silver 1( this account is also silver 1) because my main is a MG2 so i can't queue with him and he used to be MG1 but didn't play for a while because his headset was broken so he couldnt talk in game and had problems with audio. We've been playing comp for 3 days straight he got to silver 2 im still silver 1 weve been top fragging pretty much every game and winning it. (I guess im smurfing though i just in reality want to play with my friend and was thinking about using this account as my main now so i could get with him up there together). Last might i got a score of around 96 went 40-7 or something like that. This match beginning the score was like 5-2, i was going like 12-3 or something around that and then I was suddenly kicked, it said iwas convicted. Mass confusion from my friend in the skype call, he says in the chat im permanently banned from official cs:go servers. I was like wtf so i restarted my csgo and it said overwatch: majorly disruptive with my rank gone? What was I banned for? I wasn't hacking and the only thing i can come up with is griefing? I was playing the goofy goober song on audio during warm ups and the victory screech during half time as a joke ( Me and friend did a duo spongebob and mr.krabs). We were also messing around with one guy killing him because he was trash talking and trolling in the game. It doesn't say what I was banned for just majorly disruptive, I don't see what i did that was so majorly disruptive.... Was it a false positive because I was doing so good in a silver 1 game? I'd honestly love if they would get rid of the overwatch thingy and put my rank up higher then but than again i wouldnt be able to play with my friend unless he gets the same thing.... so any help here? should i contact steam support


Sorry for the paragraph i just wanted to get into as much detail as possible, just kind of annoyed by this because ive been on like a 10 win streak and still havent ranked up to silver 2 and now that it seems i lost my rank my salt levels went a little high haha

All bans are final and undisputable. You cheated and got a majorly disruptive ban for it. Suck it up and buy CSGO again

Well, didn't cheat....maybe a false positive because I was doing so good (you know mg2 in a silver 1 game), also there doesnt seem to be a ban on my steam profile. Anyways should i contact steam support if I think this is wrong? This isnt a heart breaker or anything anyways and no need to buy csgo, I have my main account only thing that will suck will not being able to play with my friend

People like you ruin this game. Instead of smurfing and ruining the game for other people and making it harder for them to rank up, maybe just encourage your friend to rank up and help him with aim, sens., recoil control etc.

Well sorry, both me and my freind should actually be ahigher rank ( he is mg1 status). It took me 10 matches of top fragging and I didn't even rank up. Valve should implement a system where someone is doing this good in a low ranking match, give them a 24 hour cooldown and put them in a higher rank obviously. Also this account had to get to lvl 3 so i played arms race for 2 days straight, did 2 comp matches to get my rank where i got a very high score and got put into silver 1. Same situation with my friend. I kind of blame valve for that.

overwatch will not ban you for simply having a good game. overwatchers have to prove themselves to be good at what they do in order to gain any real voting power. they even put in test cases that shows pro players playing(they do not inform the overwatchers when they are being tested). this is why GEs who smurf do not get banned from getting 40ish kills in a match

if you have a majorly disruptive ban that means the account was using some form of cheats while on a secured server.

hey buddy i would still be mg1 if i didn't take a 6 month break from the game sorry didn't know that was against the rules. and i should have been placed inn at least nova 4 after my 10 comp wins but the new ranking system is so cancer me and my friend can top frag 7 games in a row he gets vaced and i get put up to silver well woopty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ doo nice game remodel

Well the only other program that I had open was SLAM which I use for the soundboard that i stopped using after the first match because it stopped working. I have to put in exec slam in the console... I doubt this would trigger it.... And if they dont get banned for smurfing why was I? I mean before i made this i looked at some forum posts and there was a couple false positive ban upliftings and i could have been reported because some might might have thought I was cheating... Also I don't have a ban showing up on my profile and my friend still has the rank ( if im not mistaken, people get their rank removed if played with a hacker).. Is there a way to get in contact with an actual human steam support guy to get this settled in some way or figured out? I'm going to go and try rewach my comp matches and see if ican somehow link them in here

You don't get banned by Overwatch for not hacking. It has a 99%+ success ratio, and pro games are thrown in the mix so that Overwatchers can be judged on their accuracy for calling games.

Your rank doesn't show, so as far as the person overwatching is concerned you could be any rank that is theirs or below. It also takes 20+ people with a 95% 'positive' that you are hacking for the ban to actually happen. So either you should go join a pro team, or you should stop hacking.

losing rank from taking a break is against the rules i didn't know that not my fault i got ranked silver 1 and had to top frag 7 games to get silver 2 meanwhile my friend gets vaced

Well no need to be a ♥♥♥♥, anyways is that the reason why I was? Honestly, I don't care if it was unenjoyable for the other team and once again blame valve since I didn't even want to play in the silver 1 games and neither did my friend..... (look at his comment he made pretty much sums it up, he shouldn't be forced to pay 15 bucks again)

You also only get a minor disruptive ban for griefing, it's never perm. Get over it, buy a new account.

Alright, well I thought hacks would be programs running and therefore you get banned for hacking...

VAC bans are for programs, Overwatch is actual people watching your game. As I said, 99%+ positive rating on it, not even pro's get banned.
