4:3 Stretched Bad Quality [PLEASE HELP]
Hi,

So recently I changed my aspect ratio to 4:3 and my resolution to 1280x960. In fullscreen, my game is stretched but in really poor quality. Its like a blurry, washed out effect. When I switch it to fullscreen windowed, it stays stretched how I want it, but it looks like 1080 quality, not blurry. I have a BenQ XL2411, running at 144hz. All settings are set to max (8x MSAA, FXAA Anti-Aliasing, etc.) No motion blur.

Thanks,

Sonar

Fullscreen windowed is 1920x1080, you can't use stretched on windowed mode. You have to play 1440x1080 if you want 4:3 stretched.
Thats a very normal effect on a modern monitor, any resolution lower than your monitors default will be blurry.

Ok that explains that, but how do I get rid of the blur on fullscreen stretched?

Is there a way to fix this?

There is no way to fix this. I wondered the same thing went I went from 1920x1080 to 1280x1024. It's annoying how blurry it is, but you get used to it after a while

Even changing the monitors native resolution wont fix it?

No, the only thing you can do is a custom resolution, 1440x1080 for example.
