Does your resolution affect your sensitivity?
i.e. if you are on a lower resolution on 1.0 sens then go to a higher one, will it feel the same or faster or slower?

no, its the same on every resolution. most people think using stretched resolutions results in a faster sensitivity but its bullsh!t

Partially true. It feels faster and in stretched it does get changed as going side to side will feel like it's moving faster then going up and down.

This sensitivy crap gets confusing when you talk about dpi/cpi.

I use 3200cpi with a ingame sensitivity of 5, is this considered high?

it does NOT change. it LOOKS faster since the image is stretched. the sensitivity does NOT change whatsoever

You get more FPS on a lower resolution so you can move your mouse relatively faster. More FPS means smoother gameplay so you can contol your aim better.

Just an addendum: both these users are correct.

The actual ingame movement required to put your crosshair from point A to point B won't change at all. But visually, it will look faster on horizontal movement because of the changed aspect ratio (and limited FoV).

You have to be trolling. There's no way you're playing on that sensitivity lmao
