Cheat Engine in background?
okay, before kids say "dont cheat in csgo and you wont get banned lol #Smartz" I didnt cheat in csgo at all. I had cheat engine open this morning because I was seeing if I could change the speed of google chrome *flash game inside n goofing around with youtube an ♥♥♥♥*. Now, im not stupid i wouldnt use cheat engine for a game like csgo... anyways, I accidently left it open and played a comp game in csgo, after the game I realized i had left it open and now im scared im going to get vac banned. If anyone can give me some solid information that would be great, cant get a solid answer. Thanks!

Leaving it open won't result in a ban, however, accessing the CSGO.exe or editing any of the data will result in a ban with cheat engine.

GG, what did you try doing rofl? enabling sv_cheats clientside? or unlimited ammo?

no, i didnt use it for csgo at all. tried making google chrome run faster (changing speed) and i left it open while i had csgo open.

No you can have it running in the background, it is only once the client files have been edited or accessed that VAC issues a ban.

So I could be on CS:GO while using cheat engine on chrome editing flash game data and not receive a ban at all on CS.

Edit: Even just accessing the .exe without a bypass is a ban, without even editing any of the information within the CS client.

Why play csgo if you have a VAC ban? And also we know it was for csgo. Why post this now if you had a VAC ban for more than a year?

Actually you can enable SV_cheats clientside so can use noclip etc.

You can give unlim ammo (still uses your ammo, but mean you don't have to reload.)

You can turn xrays on ingame.

You can see enemy players HP.

You will also get banned extremely quickly using any of the above though, VAC is not an amatuer program.

Stop accusing him of hacking on csgo though, he has spent so much time, and money on this account for it, its not really worth to hack and loose it all
