Wrongly put item (MP7 Impire) in the newest CS:GO Update - Operation Wildfire !!!

Hello everyone,

On 19.02. while browsing the CS:GO workshop I noticed something which did not seem right. I opened a ticket to Valve through the Steam Support. The ticket number is 4832-LXCM-4492 and as a replay I was told to post it here so I will do it. Here is the ticket text:

I write you this ticket to inform you of something I noticed today during browsing the CS:GO Workshop. It is about a new item called MP7 Impire. I think this item was wrongly put in the Operation Wildfire Case.

If you check the workshop you can clearly see that the APPROVED item is MP9, but the creator (daniDem) by mistake put a MP7 screenshot (artwork) in his page for MP9 (you can see that also from the attached by me screenshots). He can also might put the wrong skin file. The item which should be in the new weapon case must be MP9 not MP7. There is a clear difference between the two skins artwork.

The mistake is that you put the finish for MP9 on a MP7 and released it with the update (the MP7 skin does not look like that at all). I'm almost sure this is what happened unless there is another type of mistake of course. But from all I can see this is the case. Still I just wanted to inform you of something I saw which clearly seems not right at all.

There is clearly a mistake. How big it is, though, I can not tell, but I'm almost 100% sure it is present in the current patch. There is of course always a possibility for me to be wrong in my assumptions. Tell me what do you think guys.

1 & 3 resemble same pattern, therefore it has been changed or mistakenly put cuz in No.3 second image is mp-7 (even says so). Could be due to the lots of freaking unnecessary gifs there or simple overlook -> which has to be changed (workshop)...

... and explained... hahaha, have you seen it ever??? (omiting r8 and riffles/pistols nerf) ??? You wont see it ever again. I bet my skin on that. Caucasian skin I mean.

i have no clue wtf you were saying on the last part :\

besides... i guess the only thing valve COULD do is either:

A) update the mp7 into mp9s instead (won't likely to happen..)

or

B) Update the skin of the MP7 to the current artist's Mp7 skin! this MIGHT caused a slight price change or affect the economy of this skin a bit.. not as drastic as the Griffin nor the Howl. :)

edit: seriously, the bland no contrast MP7 wildfire impire is so generic and lazy (which is obviously meant for the mp9...)

Hey, author of the Impire skin here.

This is correct, the MP7 skin shouldn't be the way it's in game right now- the file for the MP7 has been switched with the skin for the MP9.

It is true that by mistake I put a MP7 screenshot (artwork) in my page for MP9 but I'm pretty sure that the file for the skin was correct. (I'm fixing right away the screenshot in the workshop).

I'll leave a comment in the dev comment section of the weapon and if I get a reply I'll let you know.
