Hey anyone has any advice on AWP economy?
I'm familiar with rifle economy. But in my nearly 2k hours I've never paid any attention to the AWP before.

So anyone knows how to save up for one in the most common scenarios like win/lose pistol, 2nd and 3rd round? And what to buy while saving up?

buy a rifle and drop it to your teammate when you can buy an awp or if one of your teammate can buy it for you.

I don't want anyone to buy one for me. I want to buy one myself. Besides, nobody might have the money for it anyway.

if you died and your teammate didn't he will have more money than you, enogh to buy you an awp and you will buy him a rifle.

In solo queue games, many times this won't work.

If you're really lucky during the pistol round and pull off a knife kill and win, you could potentially buy an awp on the second round. I would suggest not using it unless you're familiar with it though

buying and awp on second round is no bueno.

My buildup to AWP typically is
On pistol round buy armor, win >
Second round UMP or Scout, win >
Third round AWP.
I don't have a backup plan in case we lose pistol... But my premade hardly ever loses pistol rounds. :csgogun:
