sv_gravity 800 dude.. always 800
What if I want more speed? Or high jumps? Could I do that too?
I've always wanted to play a game which just lets me run fast and jump high in first person. Surf is the closest I've found.
It's F2p though, so at least no cost to try it.
As far as the whole platformy, time trial-ish-ness of surf, afaik it's fairly unique to source games, Tribes was the closest thing I could think of, good luck in the search anyay.
As for all these commands, are these GO exclusive? Or would I have to do the same thing in Source? Or would surf just work if I had the map?
I heard one person say that just having the map is enough, and that you don't need to input a bunch of commands. But I would like as many answers as possible to be well informed.
sv_airaccelerate
are in all versions of source/goldsrc engine (except l4d2 omits some)
sv_airaccelerate 9999 (maybe not so high but i use 9999 out of habit) is absolutely necessary to surf
That might be what I'll go for, since I don't want to use up hard drive space.
Then again, I DO have garrys mod installed, but I could barely find any surf maps on the workshop. Shame.
