Unranked Cooldown

Hey all, so i understand that when you are unranked you can only win 2 matches a day before receiving a 20 hour cooldown.

However, on my first day of playing comp I won 2 and got my cooldown as expected. The next day things did not go so well and lost 2 games then won 1 and got a cooldown which is confusing, I was under the impression that WINNING 2 games got a cooldown.

Anyway I stuck it out and waited the 20 hours. Then last night I won 1 and lost 1 but stopped playing as the cooldown kept ending at about 11 P.M.

I just played my very first comp match of the day, and I get a 20 hour cooldown, Valve please ive only played 1 and won 1 today.

Could someone please explain this to me as im new to the whole comp scene. I do know how cooldowns work if you grief or leave the game and I have done neither as of yet and never will hopefully.

Ties also count as wins btw... Just be aware of that.

I've heard someone with the issue before but never saw the solution. Could be on your end try verifying game cache or re-installing. Other than that all I can suggest is Google or contacting Steam Support(although you'll probably be ranked by the time they get back to you)

I've tied one game won one and got a cool down though ... Unless that itself is a bug.

I think you're experiencing the same bug as OP cause I had 3 ties while getting ranked and they didn't count.

I havent tied any match, i will try verify my game cache. This is just annoying. Maybe its a time zone difference between South Africa and the US. But I doubt that since we have our own servers.

Time zone or not, it shouldn't affect this because it's still 1 win. Plz post here if you find a solution so I know what to tell the next guy

No luck man, theres no email for support in regards to CS GO. How fun and steam support basically just sends me here to the discussions.

Update, i got a ticket but they state its null and void as cooldowns are server made and "never wrong". This is BS im sure im not the only one where an exception applies. Servers arent perfect. Jeez.
