Ump45 vs Mp7
Which one do you think is the most effective against armored opponents, on a force buy round where you have less than 2000$ to buy a weapon ?

$2200 = ump and armor. Force buy winner.

Anything under you should save.
ump = more / most dmg vs. armor and easy to control.
Shouldnt force with 2000$ unless it's the 2nd or the last round of the 1st half or the score is 13/14 : x/x. But am noob so what do I know.

Go armour pistol+nades

Against armoured opponents, the UMP. Easier recoil, more precise.

You probably shouldn't go smg on a force buy with <$2k...pistol/armour & nades would be more viable.

What I meant by '2000$' was 2000$ after having bought the kevlar-helmet, and these are the dollars left. (Which means I had 3000$ at the very beginning of the round)

Forcing all depends on the situation and more. With <$2000 nade stacks with p250 is the best bet for ct side. Terrorist side I'd save for the next round buy out. Try to plant the bomb. If you really need the round buy a p250 or Tec 9. It's all situational.

UMP has both higher damage and higher penetration than the MP7, the only drawbacks are ammunition, accurate range, and recoil, so if you can successfully manage those the UMP is better, but the spray with the MP7 will be easier to manage.

It all depends how much you need the round. $3000 ct side I'd just buy a p250 for the next round buy out. Remember you need $4100 for m4 armor. You can't always keep forcing. Terrorist side with $3000 I'd buy p250 nade, smoke. For the next round $3700 ak armor buy out. All situational again.

To answer your question. I always pick Ump over all SMGs besides p90.

Yeah, like you say, it's all situational. When you're 14-15 and can't even afford a galil/fams you may consider buying an smg. The advantage of the ump in this case is that it allows you to buy a nade/smoke + a flash more than the mp7 (since it costs 500$ less), so even if your budget is restricted you'll still have some nades and an automatic weapon (some people can't handle pistols very well, due to their weird recoils and also since you have to clic every shot...)

Thanks for all your advices. You have 3 times more hours than me so I guess I should listen to you x)
