Falsely banned - Innocent players are getting "Overwatch" banned

Falsely banned - Innocent players are getting "Overwatch" banned

As the title says. I have 4k hours in CSGO and have never cheated.
I woke up today to a game ban.
For further context, Im just a casual and havent touched competitive nor premier since before CS2 was announced.
So I just play casual.
And today I woke up to an "Overwatch" ban which, by the way, doesnt even exist in CS2.

By reading multiple threads and another one I made earlier that was locked by a moderator I've seen multiple other people experiencing the same exact issue.
So my guess is that this is a ban wave triggering false positives over innocent players.
Maybe it's a command on the autoexec that triggers it like what happened with m_yaw false bans.
We can only contact support and wait and pray for the innocent gamers to get unbanned.
This is beyond sad and pathetic, that innocent players get banned while cheaters still ruin the game.
All of this could be avoided with an anticheat like Valorant, but noooo, let's ♥♥♥♥ all of our customers over surely that will bring good will among our customers.
Anyways. Share your experience if this has happened to you today too. I've seen a lot of people complaining so I know I'm not alone.

Let's hope Valve fixes this soon.

Update: My account got unbanned!
Valve is slowly unbanning all false positives.

I got VAC banned as well, dude what the hell is that? I have never used any hacks in my entire life. what am i suppoed to do? I got Silver II rank. CS2 became weird

im in the same boat. don't play mm and don't play premier. played a few casual lobbies last night and i have a game ban. people are trying to say it's related to 3rd party skin trading site but i've never bought or sold with one of those site so it's clearly something else. i've never cheated any game on steam and i don't play with high dpi either. 400dpi, 2.0 sens in game.

Same here man, as I'm saying, it's happening to a lot of people so we're not alone at least.
We can only wait and pray.
I for my own saftey will not play any more once they unban us. It's too risky to play Valve games.
