this has absolutely nothing to do with ping. Valve knows what it is tho...
Yes, shoot a player dead on with an AWP. Shot goes directly through them, at a point where its normally a kill shot. You die instead. Had this happen many times.
Welcome to sub-tick, where your only bottleneck is your ping. Subtick is absolutely flawless for LAN and for countries with widespread 100mbps+ FTTP internet, but for other connections? Its a complete crapshoot and in some jurisdictions it might not be a problem possible to fix. Other than moving entirely to a different area just to play a game.
