Game Crashing constantly. Getting -1000pts nearly every day

We all know this game is a failure. But since a patch or two its become literally unplayable for me:

When I start a competetive (premier) match there is a ... say 25%-50% chance that the game crashes either on the map selection or the loading screen of the map.
I had these crashes before and usually I could just verify the integrity and I was able to join.
Now since a some time it seems that the CS will just refuse to allow you to repair / verify the game UNTIL you get the penality (-1000pts + ban).

I've lost 3x 1000pts in the last couple of days, just because of this bug.

I can do whatever... Restart Steam, Restart the PC whatever... it will always say "Downloading content" and freeze at 0%. As soon as the time you get to connect to a game, is over it suddenly starts working and repairs the game.

Its so annoying. I was close to 10000pts and now i dropped to <7k just because of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bug.

CS2 is the only game i got severe problems btw. No problems with any of my 700+ games. Just CS2 is a huge fail.

I'm a software dev myself with over 20yrs of experience in this field and I've never seen such a failure as CS2. The devs should be ashame of themselfs for delivering such a failure of game.

I really liked the direction they went with CS2, but its just a technical disaster.

CS Devs are the biggest noobs of this industry.
If you think Fallout 76 was a fail then you really need to play CS2. You will think Fallout 76 is a technical wonder, after this.

You don't get VAC because of a laggy mouse. You get VAC because of cheating. IF YOU REALLY HAVENT CHEATED, then its very likely that your account got compromised and people used it to cheat.

It has however nothing to do with my problem. I don't get VAC. The game just crashes and refuses to repair or verify data until the time for the penality is up. I can run a timer and tell exactly the moment when CS2 will all of a sudden start working again.... exactly when I got the penality (-1000pts + ban).

CS2 devs are just noobs and super angry that valve gives such patheticly bad developers money.

If I would have worked like that EVER in my entire carreer I would have lost my job immediatly.

keep crashing for me also game is legit unplayable and im on my 2nd 1 week cooldown because the game crashes then downloads a file and sometimes gets stuck on the download so i cant even get back into a comp game if it does work :(

I might. I get ban from system. If i think about it it may looked like some aimbot or other ♥♥♥♥. I got crashes as well XD
I looked throoght whole google to solve the problem, but it didnt help. We have to wait for some patch or other ♥♥♥♥♥ XD

If your a software dev with so much experience and skill
surely you would realized by now that
1. majority of the playerbase does not experience this.
2. likely the issue is with your setup and would have fixed it by now.

otherwise i'm calling BS on the software dev part.

Yeah thats exactly the issue. It crashes and then the download gets stuck until you get the penality. Next time you have this problem look at the time. It will get stuck exactly until you get the penality.

The game wants to penalitize its players, for beeing programmed by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with no programming skills or experience whatsoever. Its a disgrace for the gaming industry and a big FU from Valve to its playerbase.

I never claimed that the majority of people have this problem. I'm quite sure they don't or this discussion forum would obviously full of people reporting this problem.
But fact is that I got this problem and I tried everything to fix it.

I would agree that its a problem of my setup IF I would have any problems with any other games.... but I don't. I can play - even the most unstable games - for hours without any problems.

I wouldn't even have a problem with it if it would just crash and I could just repair it / verify the integrity as it was some time ago.

But now the game just refuses to continue to repair EXACTLY until you get the penality... which is either a really bad bug, or made on purpose --> However --> Its F'd up to the max.

I'm now quite sure that this game got programmed by Apes, which just smashed their keyboard until something like a game started. Valve called it CS2 and replaces CS:GO with it.
Bugs? Yeah, but Valve is sure that the apes will eat them some day.

I'm a software dev (since 2002) not a game dev. I did some game dev for fun tho.

Yeah I heard of these games. I think I own them all. None of them was such a technical disaster as CS2 is - in my eyes at least.

I know lephro for some time and he is legit.
I also know a few other friends that got the same issue, but they already stopped playing.
The game is currently really not in a great technical state. I understand his anger.
