GPU 100% LAG
I have managed to fix all the problems I had with CS2 but now the GPU goes to 98-100% and drops the FPS from 200 to 40, it can last at 100% for 5 minutes causing it to be unplayable. Any solution?

RTX 3070
16G RAM
AMD RYZEN 7 5800H

did you monitor your temps on the gpu? try monitoring the gpu temps and see if its the temperature thats causing the issue

Have you tried to enable NVIDIA Reflex “Enabled + Boost”. It could lower the average fps but reduce fps drops. Which gpu brand do you have? Hopefully not those msi crap cards.

Clearly something wrong with your setup , you either have bios values , nvidia, or overclock values wrong.

Check everything. Also disable boost in reflex

Never overlock, Nvidia and bio values checked all fine...

Btw. do you also have those issues in other games or in benchmarks?

lower graphic settings, maybe cap FPS on your monitor limit or 10 FPS above, it should not run on 100% permanently

You have steam commands under game? Delete all.

You added game .exe to nvidia panel and changed values?

Your physx is on gpu?

Newest drivers?

What temperature is on gpu in game?

Did you try unistall, delete csgo folder in file explorer and install again?

What refresh rate is your monitor?

As for boost it adds gpu usage so that might be it.

Normally speaking a 100% gpu util is what you're aiming for.. when my 4090 gets 100% gpu util i know my processor ain't bottlenecking ^^

Normal I have " lag or stutter " in some games. For example Cyberpunk run smooth but Hogwarts Legacy have this same issue. I see now my CPU and GPU are running with 80-98°. But I don't have lag for now, I'm still checking where is the issue

Sounds a bit high. 60-70° is okay. Maybe the airflow is not optimal or you have lots of dust in your pc which needs to be cleaned. This could really help. :D
