and I would really like to use a custom PNG crosshair… I'm totally fine with it not displaying for others, not showing recoil, etc, I loved my crosshair overlay a lot when I was on windows 7 and could do it without added input latency
almost every "gaming" monitor has a crosshair overlay
and even without that
it didn't stop people from drawing one on their monitor with a sharpie back in the days of source.
i wouldnt recommend using anything, VAC LIVE is very strict.
altho my monitor has built-in crosshair feature and obviously that's undetectable, but it looks hidious :/
That doesn't matter.
If it's not injecting itself into the process and it's not reading any data from the process, it should be fine to run, just like it would be fine to put a piece of clear plastic film over your monitor with a crosshair drawn on it.

Same, thats why I dont use it ..
I would use it and then remove the ingame crosshair, if my screen came with a Dot I could set the size on myself and the colors i want !
But that my screen dont support, so i use the ingame crosshair wich is just a small Dot, nearly 25 years i have been played with that now ..
