I got scammed by swap.gg
I received a trade offer from their BOT and after I Comfirmed trade it start to cancel by itself. After that happened I try to swap.gg support and they said I got API key scam.. I asked them to check their BOT inventory if they received my trade and they won't do that. That's way I know that I got scammed by that website. Swap.gg 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 stay safe community.

Why would he check for an API key? Do you just assume that everyone that plays counter strike or trades skins understands how authentication works? That's a pretty silly thing to assume, Hogarth.

But could be possible that he just got api scammed and not from the actual trading site.

Because he was just scammed and told how he was scammed. It would be silly for him not to check in my opinion.

I got all screenshot of all my items that I been trade to "GG BOT #0075" and they said that is not their BOT. I really don't know how legit is the website before but this time I face this situation myself. You guys won't believe me until you get scam one day by this website swap.gg :steamsad:

Its gonna be a while then :(

Use this as a learning experience and move on. Learn about steam scams before you buy anything else. Plenty of youtube vids for you to watch.
You should make sure your account is secure.

1. Scan for malware
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (the domain field should be blank)
