Lost all motivation to grind back to global elite

After 10 wins easy games placements, they put me in silver after the placements I notice the skill level was the same as cs go global elite that was my old rank.
Pretty sure they still use the old mmr currently in gold nova and when I check profiles we all have around 50k combined with all players in the server.

I'll give you a tip that I noticed from this new ranking system (MM): play a single map until you reach Global Elite and then play all the other maps. I was GN3 in CSGO and when I played Dust2 I got Silver 2 and now I'm Silver Elite. Then I went to Mirage and had a terrible experience there multiple times, but somehow I was sent straight to Silver Elite again and I noticed I was playing against Gold Novas since the beginning!

I think this system takes part of your data from other maps to try to place you in the average skill group and then adjust accoding to your performance, so if you reach G.E on one map, you'll probably play matches against LEM and Supremes. I can't obviously prove it, but that's what I feel when I play my matches on other maps

This would be good, cant imagine grinding all maps to global elite, if I already get sweaty games in gold nova.

gold nova here in dust 2 feels like global elite in cs go. I feel they didnt change the mmr from cs go. Impossible all gold novas have 4k+ every game and face it lv10
