Game crashing?

I just started playing CS2 this week after playing CSGO for years. Ive never had a crash on CSGO and my computer runs just about every other game just fine. I shouldn't have any issue with CS but I crash at least once every game. I've looked online and havent found any solutions. I run on high settings and get a great FPS until the game crashes. I've tried reinstalling and verifying the game files. Any suggestions?

In the last days my game also started to crash, specifically it freezes while in match , and I just get suspensions on competitive for this thing because even if I restartd the game, it fails to reconnects me to match server so I just get suspension..I don t know what happened, may be a recent update of the game?

same, happening every two or three rounds, i noticed my cpu usage for the game drops to below 1%. tried different things in practice mode and cant pin down what is causing it

the CS2 just crash in servers Valve, GC and Faceit do not crash, more errors for Valve fix, only suggestion for you get play CS2

Right click cs2.exe go to settings, compatibility and disable full screen optimizations. Check that box and see if it’s still crashing.

Im not getting crashes like you describe. For me its random freezing and stuff when a player is shooting or I shoot sometimes. This game really does not like headshots.

Is not the game is your pc issue, never had a single crash since cs2 launched

had the same thing happen to me today, couldn't reconnect to a match and CANNOT VERIFY MY GAME FILES FFS

edit : now i got a cooldown of 30 minutes by an obvious mysterious reason i can verify my game files wth is going on for real !

Is not the game is your pc issue, never had a single crash since cs2 launched

My PC runs every other game I throw at it just fine, high settings in any game I play, high FPS, no crashes. (RDR2, MW2, Hell let loose, Battlefield, all run on High or Ultra and never crash.) I'm not saying its CS2 I'm asking if there is some setting causing this I can fix.

the only fix is using Vulkan by puting -Vulkan in Launch Options
the crashes are because of the subtick bs in Valves server
it will never get fixed

Had this crashing and running my memory cl 14 at 3600 was giving me crash so run it at 3200 and no more crashes.
I am now running memory at 34.66 and no crashes so far.

No other game crashes when memory is at 3600 just CS2.

I also have constant crashes. I am able to reconnect to competetive, but playing casual is just not possible

i had this problem too couldn't reconnect to competitive and couldn't event verify game files till i had got a CD :)
