How does the chat system work

I know it's a very nood question, but I still don't fully get the chat system. So, who can hear the voice chat, who can read chat messages? What are the differences in competitive or casual. Please give me a full rundown on how this works.

In casual mode there's voice and text chat for all, but if you die you will be heard only by dead ones.
In competitive voice chat is for your team only, and two different text chats for team and for all.

Yes, but that doesn't matter, since this mode is not so serious to tryhard. It's more for learning maps, training, communicating with people.
