Error Starting the Game regarding Dx11
I have a new PC, and played CS2 last night even. Today, I'm getting an error message that reads:

CRenderDeviceMgrDx11::CreateDevice():
This application requires DX11, no valid device found!

I've googled the problem, and found there's 0 text in my launch option setting when I inspected CS2's properties. How can I fix this problem?

Did you install graphics drivers and DX11 runtime? Latter should be automatically installed by steam.

Try launching with -vulkan, just to see if it works. And also try some other games that use DirectX to see if it’s an issue with CS2.

Yes that seems to have fixed it! Is there any reason why that command seems to make it work?

There's some crazy performance issues now

Install this Direct X 2010 redist
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109

And uh, as someone said try updating your graphic driver. Maybe you are using a laptop or desktop with iGPU? Need more information to know why only vulkan works tho.

If you haven't rebooted since you installed the graphics driver, you could try rebooting.

-vulkan makes the game run on the Vulkan API, it's basically the successor of OpenGL.
At the moment it's a bit slower in CS2 than DirectX due to a bad implementation, but I just wanted to see if the issue is DirectX related.
Now some steps I'd try are reinstalling DirectX runtimes/redistributables, verifying game files of CS2, rebooting, and then starting CS2 without -vulkan.

-vulkan avoided the Dx11 error. Launches and 1 second later crashes. I have tried "reinstalling DirectX runtimes/redistributables, verifying game files of CS2, rebooting, and then starting CS2 without -vulkan" ... Any other ideas or solutions? -vulkan is the closet I have gotten to the game actually launching.
