Rare achievements have to be related to skill, but 99% of CS GO achievement was just time waste garbage ala "play 1000 times here, play 1000 times there".
Yes it feels empty.
Poor map amount also make it so pathetic for the 23 years old game. And no real challenges for skilled players. Even Condition Zero with it's god-like bots was a masterpiece compared to this.
Also, no other CS game was removed from steam (I think). We have CS 1.6, CS:CZ, CS:S and then CS2. Where is CS:GO? Oh wait, we have to pretend it never happened.
I share your sadness, but this is the future of multiplayer games. And these are no longer the "games", but free services. Your purchase of green status is not make you game copy owner anymore, it not oblige the developers in any way; they can do whatever they want with their products at any time. They can rename, reforge, just delete it forever, EVERYTHING.
Hitman 2 disappeared from the market and Hitman 3 appeared.

Although Quake Live, they removed the master server and forced people to switch to Quake Champions.
Dirty methods work, and no one can do anything.
