Why do some people hate CS2?

I personally think it's a nice upgrade, and doesn't sacrifice that much of performance.

Because they have garbage computers that can't even run Tetris, and they want you to believe it's a major issue when clearly it's a minor one. Obviously, It's a newer engine and it will be more demanding, not even by a significant amount, after all, who cares if Dimitri can't run CS2 anymore.

I have three things:
1. terribly poor optimization
2. everything centralized on valve servers (to prevent cheating, right?)
3. Thanks to the creative mechanisms implemented by velve, such as the vote system (derived from Stalinism, see point 2), they have created a terribly toxic community.

Half of the things you listed are wrong lol

>cs2 is well optimised

>there arent that many bugs

>random crashes are not a problem from the game, fix your pc

>new ranking system is fine, matchmaking is the same as it was in csgo

Ye, but we must probably wait for years to game became same as CS:GO .
Im having trouble on new PC which I bought for CS 2 , and feeling is ...Idk ,...different .
Still waiting for updates , content , smoothness in the firs place ...
Also when Im playing with higher ping than 20 gameplay is very bad .

People hate cs2 because they can't stand the fact that they can't find any cheaters in my games

• Because sub tick is the worst thing ever made by valve. Hit registration sucks, full auto with ak47 sucks.
  
• Running and shooting with every weapon even with deagle or ak47 is worse than in Valorant (because people with silvers, novas from CS:GO are accurate in full sprint).
  
• Bad optimization and performance. You need high end pc to have fluent experience game like it was in CS: GO (with any even average or bad PC).
  
• People with high end gear have advantages over people with average gear.
  
• Blatant cheaters are not banned even for months after reports.
  
• Matchmaking system in premier mode is f.ck3d. People who wouldn't be able to have rank higher than gold nova in CS: GO are mixed with some good people even in 20-25k elo or more. So premier elo doesn't matter. People with 5-8k elo points can play the same like 25k elo. I know because I played on main but also on smurfs. I also had the opportunity to play on my friend accounts (with huge variety of ranks). Rank doesn't matter much like it mattered in CS: GO. In CS: GO you could notice huge gap between even silver and gold nova. Big gap between gold nova and mge. Also skill gap between master guardians and lems. And also between lems and globals.
  In CS2 nothing matter. You can have 5k, 10, 15, 20, 25k elo and it's very likely that you won't feel any differece between those elos.
