Once you've located your CS2 cfg folder directory.
Find a file called config.cfg, right click the file then select Properties.
on the first tab (the General tab) look down until you see Attributes then uncheck "Read-Only"
You should get an error, that the Cloud-Data differs from the local Data and then choose the local data
Find CS2, right click game > Select properties > Look down until you see "Launch options" Then write +exec autoexec.cfg
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\csgo\cfg
Create a new empty .cfg file and name it autoexec.cfg
You can then use this site to create a crosshair https://totalcsgo.com/crosshair-generator
then copy and paste the commands from the website to the autoexec.cfg file select save then close
Make sure the autoexec.cfg file is not set to "Read-only" right click file > properties > general tab > uncheck "Read-only"
