- Use display port instead of VGA
- In screen settings menu there is a option to pick max FPS if run at fullscreen
- If not using fullscreen type the console command fps_max 240
- Windows display setting if running at windowed mode
Is anyone still using VGA?
Then go to windows settings, search for display (or monitor) and set it to 240hz. In CS2 do the same in video settings.
it doesn't work.. in the desktop settings, at the display setting, I have 240, but the maximum below is 120
Don't work
Is in fullscreen but maximum hz is 120 ...
Setting - Video
depending on your monitor, the supported refresh rate will be way lower than 240hz on anyother than native resolution.
i got a fkn expensive monitor with 240hz wqhd and any other resolution than that will result in 144-120hz or lower :D
system settings -> display -> extended display
which will bring you to adapter settings of your monitor
->list all modes
you will see whats supported
as my windows is german, im not exactly sure about the terms but im sure you find it.
