make sure to give reward. what I accept as payments are: steam giftcard, steam game, cs2 skin.
There is no such folder as csgo, i have 2 foldrs which are:
-Steam Controller Configs> 384361493> config
-Steamworks Shared> _CommonRedist> DirectX/DotNet/vcredlist
all the other folders under steamapps are empty, tried searching for cs folder through the entire C drive but no luck.
Continue with the rest of the solv then
looks like you don't have CS2 installed
Click on the “Steam” button in the upper left corner.
Select the “Settings” option.
Go to the “Downloads” tab.
Select the “Clear Cache” option in the “Clear Download Cache” section.
I followed these steps and it worked
If I launch the game using a shortcut (whether from the taskbar or desktop), the game always requires me to verify the files before starting.
However, if I launch CS2:
By right-clicking on Steam in the taskbar and selecting the game from the context menu,
OR directly from the Steam library,
...the game launches fine, without needing to verify files.
Here’s the key difference I noticed: When I launch it through Steam, it does a quick cloud sync just before starting the game, which doesn’t happen when launching via the shortcut (even if the shortcut points to the cs2.exe file).
I suspect the problem is that the shortcut doesn’t include some launch parameters or doesn’t initialize something critical, like the anti-cheat system, which Steam seems to handle properly.
