Is it possible to change FOV for multiplayer matches?

Just wondering, honestly. Default CS2 FOV is 106 degrees horizontal, or the equivalent of "74" in Escape from Tarkov, or a game like Battlefield 4 which has "74 (90)" in the settings. Basically, it's in vertical degrees and referencing a 4:3 aspect ratio.

I play in 1080p (16:9) and use a 59 FOV in a game like Tarkov or Battlefield 4, which is a 90 degree horizontal FOV.

Playing CS2 with that higher FOV just does not feel good, IMO. Has a minor fisheye/distortion effect I hate with a passion.

Download crashz viewmodel changer on the workshop , atleast i think its crashz , but on the map they have a FOV adjuster for your viewmodel

That would change how the weapon and hands look, sure, but it does nothing for the actual FOV.

if you want to play with a horizontal FOV 90, then set the aspect ratio to 4:3 and stretch the image in the monitor settings
