Competitive Cooldown ( Griefing )

WHERE IS THE GRIEF?!

WHY SHOULD ENEMY TEAM HAVE THE OPTION TO REPORT YOU FOR GRIEFING?

It's been this way for a long time. You see an enemy that is playing really well / is suspicious? Reported for griefing / you tick every box in the report option. Valve doesn't seem to care that the report system is being abused, they have received multiple emails explaining how the system is being exploited to ban someone in your / enemy team. Trolls can use this function even in deathmatch, where it really isn't even possible to grief. You can get a griefing ban for using a weapon that is not popular (example - Scar20/G3sg1 or R8 Revolver and Negev)... People abuse everything that they can, in deathmatch (FFA) you will be kicked really fast for using the unpopular weapons or having a playstyle different than others.

1. I have not played COMP for Weeks.

2. This is the Second day in a row I have received a COMP Cool down. I did not even play comp this week. Something is broken with reports. Report bots are abusing the system somehow. I will not mute anyone and just report as griefing from now on to test it.

I don't think it's report bots. If you get a griefing cooldown once, then it's really easy to get another one. I would suggest AVOIDING deathmatch servers, and using the text chat inside of the game, as it can result in someone reporting you simply because you are better than them.

Yup. The second biggest issue with CS2 after cheaters.

What do you mean exactly? I think the reduced xp measure is to reduce the bot amount inside of CS2, but it doesn't make the game unplayable

What do you mean exactly? I think the reduced xp measure is to reduce the bot amount inside of CS2, but it doesn't make the game unplayable

it does because since competitive means nothing now you can't play premier for one week until you get to level 10, valve is doing wonders to illegal russian account selling and they don't seem to know it

for some reason you are in low trust factor matches. keep playing and it stops happening.
stop using voice and chat, dont engage in troll battles ..etc

i've only had 2x 1day "griefing" cooldowns and it was when i got back into cs2 about 2-3 months ago. once i got out of those baby-whiny ranks, i no longer have the issue.

even tho in some matches i've got quite frustrated with total noobs with 0 skill and said few nasty things and most likely they reported me, i havent got another cooldown.
so if you keep getting cooldowns, you are definetely doing something bad yourself.

i never play Deathmatch,i only play Competitive Premier ( BOOM ) cooldown for being better than the enemy,if i dont kill the enemy my team reports me for not killing...
i spend more than 2000 Euros on steam ( NO ONE CARES )

Oh yeah, as I said, just avoid saying mean things to your team ( or the enemy team ), I often don't just use the chat function at all, and I just have the enemy team muted by default. It helps a lot
