FPS in CS2 after upgrade video card

Hello,
I upgraded video card and now I have less FPS in match but in game menu I have 3x more! :O

My current PC set:
- MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max
- Ryzen 5 2600 (game boost) + cooler Fera 5 Dual Fans
- 16 GB DDR4 RAM (XMP profile 2993 MHz)
- GeForce RTX 3060 OC 12 GB
- Power supply OCZ 600W

Before changed video card I had in match 100-170 FPS, now I have 70-100. In other games I don't have problem with FPS - in all games now I have more FPS.

I uninstalled video card drivers by DDU, reinstalled CS2, backed to default cfg.
Mayby someone had that problem and know solve?

Have you tried tweaking video settings? I'm running a 12900k @ 5.1Ghz OC and a 3090ti Tuf OC and I'm getting like 300 FPS on a 5120x1440p 240hz.

Check all your drivers. Make sure PC battery mode and all that stuff is set for performance. Check NVDA control Panel as well.

You will always have higher FPS in most game menus..

If you get 300fps like me or better with my specs, someone who doesn't have decent hardware, you can get a 1-3 second peak advantage on people. I'm not kidding.

CS2 was not even out with my last GPU I had.

Talking more to the op then you, hard to tell if he bought a new gpu that are worst then hes old one if hes not telling us the old one.

I had GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB, now I have RTX 3060 OC 12 GB.
In all games expect CS2 I have more FPS than before.

AchaosG - yes I changed resurection and video details but this doesn't bring the expected results.

What do you mean with your ryzen dosent work in cs2?

In task manager my CPU utilization level is around 30-40% when I play CS2, according to the task manager, the graphics card is not used at around 100% and max. 30%.

That sounds perfectly fine, its not meant that your cpu and gpu should work 100% so you have found a good balance there for cs2.
