Long launch time CS2
Hello,
I've been battling with this issue for a couple of months now and can't seem to find a solution or anyone with a similar issue..

If I start cs2 right after booting my pc it takes about 5 sec for it to launch and get to the main menu.

If I then play a game or even a 10 min deathmatch and try to reboot the game it takes about 50 sec before I get in the main menu again. When I press the play button on CS2 I can see it starting up and the curser is loading but it will just sit there for 50 sec before actually starting it.

This is very annoying and can casue issues since they have removed the long warmup time.

Things I've tested: Fresh reinstall of windows, moving steam and CS2 to another disk, changing the launch options (both adding and removing), change settings ingame to lower, removed some windows updates I first thought caused it, It's the same if I try another steam account.

My setup:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
MB: Asus ROG Strix X570-E Gaming
AIO: Corsair H100I Pro AIO
GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Ti GAMING X TRIO 24G (stock)
RAM: 32 Gb Crucial Ballistix BL2K8G36C16U4BL DDR4 3600 MHz
PSU: Be quiet! Power Zone 1000W
Disks: WD_BLACK 1TB SN850 NVMe (windows + games)
Samsung 850-Series EVO 500GB
Samsung SSD 970 Evo 500Gb
Kingston SUV500/240G
+ a couple HDDs for storage
Chassi: Phanteks Eclipse P500A

latest Windows 10 pro build, latest Nvidia Drivers, latest chipset drivers.

Please help, I'm starting to run out of options to test. (never had this issue in CS:GO with same setup).

Hey, I think I found a solution in another forum, it has so far worked for me.

Solution:

"I had the exact same problem today and it was because of my wireless controller drivers on windows device manager.

All you gotta do is plug in your controller, open device manager, drop down the view tab and select 'devices by container', expand the wireless controller section which should be near the bottom, then uninstall any devices that are in there. Restarting your computer after this should fix it and you can plug in you controller and the drivers will install again with no problems this time."

Is that still the case if I have just done a complete fresh installment of Windows 10? I thought Cache is something that saves up over time so it should not exist and cause problems when the PC is fresh no?

For me it actually was the Corsair ICUE software v5. If I use the v3 or v4 version it works without issue.

Hey, Had the Same Error. Have a simliar Setup With Asus Mainboard, rtx and m2 SSD.

I used the Asus Tool to automatically Update all my drivers and this Thing installed some AMD Software adrenaline which IS a GPU Driver. Seems Like my PC had a Problem with Nvidia and AMD graphics Driver so i uninstalled this AMD Software. And also all this RGB Aurora Asus Software.

Now my Game Starts much faster
