Keybind keeps unbinding everytime I launch CS2

I don't want to make an autoexec file and I shouldn't have to. CS2 literally has a setting where you bind your key to use the chat but for some reason it keeps unbinding it everytime I set it to " /". It works for any other key but that one specifically it doesn't work. It worked in CSGO but doesn't in CS2. Why is this happening?

it has to do with your config file. I am having the same issue, not sure how to fix yet. Hopefully a config map comes out on workshop soon

Have you found a solution to this problem yet? Im still suffering from this exact problem where my chat bind unbinds itself and I have to do it manually everytime I load it.
