CS2 crashing and being stuck on "downloading content 0%" when reopened

Whenever i play CS2 i will get a random crash that forces me to close the game. When i try to reopen the game the steam launcher will not allow me to run the game due to it "downloading content 0%". When the game I was playing in finishes, it allows me back in but i receive a ban. There seems to be no fix to this issues yet and I want the issue to be addressed by Valve.

it says to verify integrity of files which the steam launcher doesn't even allow me to do, about to get a week ban due to this being the third time this week

yup. i fix this. Just install Counter-Strike 2 Wokrshop Tools. it update game to normal.

I can't even do this because the DLC needs the game to launch, and the game won't launch.

Clearing download cache seemed to work for me

had the same crash today, verify stuck at 0%, after i unchecked cs2 limited test from DLCs it worked

I solved this problem this way, I changed the account, if you have a reserve one, go to it and select CS 2 from the library, then update it and return to your account from which you want to play
If you don't have a reserve account, just create one and add it for quick access, just don't forget to add CS 2 to the library.

This is the worst bug/crash I've ever seen, Valve needs to fix this urgently

I just got the same problem a few minutes ago. 6th round into Inferno comp and integrity error pops up. Trying to verify wont even allow it since its stuck at 0%.

Valve is just teaching u good lesson in perseverence. The strong man see setback as a challenge not a loss.
