Map ranks not working

The competitve ranks for each map are not working properly each time i play the same map i receive the same rank again but its says first always no rank. and ranks of other players are not visible. Quite bad i have to say because it worked in cs go so why not in cs2 its the same game on a different engine

You have to play "Premier" not "Competetive".
In competetive you get a rank on each map. So you have to win 10 games on a map to get a rank.
On premier you have to win 10 games in total, but you cannot chose the map (you have to vote with your team).

like @lephro said, there are two different models of ranking. The premier mode which ranking you see in main menu and the map based ranking.
So you see in main menu only this: "---" in rank because you only play map based competetive.

But hey, I don´t like this new ranking, too.
I´m 99% Dust 2 player, in cs:go i was nova 2-4, an up and down.
When I received my "map rank" fur Dust 2 I got silver 2 wtf.
But even in Silver 2 it´s hard like hell, something not working in the matchmaking.
Fallen down to Silver 1 then and there I am for weeks now lmao.

Matchmaking is gon so worse. Faster but worse. Think there aren´t that much players now cuz premier boost. And thats why there may only exists Silver 1-3 or so in usual maps

M8 thx for your answer i play both, i have a number rank and map ranks. But each time i win a map the rank shows no rank and than it adds silver 2.

hes not talking about the premier rating hes talking about the comp map rank and it still doesnt work it says not ranked than goes back to the rank i already was

You need to win about 10-20 times in a row to rank up, I use it as warm up for premier. Better than broken DM
