Best settings for fps

My pc is old asf before the update I’d get 300+ fps now it drops under 100 what are the best settings and optimisations for high fps?

what's your gpu, mine is 1650s and its running well after the latest map optimization update, my settings is pretty much all low settings but i use 4x msaa, on csgo i had almost 300+ on all maps, but now it reduced to 100 fps less. but its so much better rn compared to when cs2 early release, on early release i had 90-200 fps on mirage, mirage is the best optimized map imo, and now i can easily run mirage on 160+ - 200+ without any stutter, but in some maps, like inferno, the fps sometimes fked up.

One of the settings which effects performance very much is the multisampling anti-ailising I think was called XD. Turn it down from 8*MSAA to 4*MSAA or 2*MSAA. It has a lot of impact on the game performance specially in areas with smokes or fires.

If it is 13 10100 then it is a farely enough cpu. This game is more gpu intensive. CSGO was more CPU needed.

if you have old pc, how can your monitor even show over 100hz?
best settings are to sync fps with your monitor and not keep GPU under 100% load

cause he might have a high refresh rate monitor? He said before the update he had over 300, he can ofc play on low res and settings.

Also i wouldn't sync fps with the monitor refresh rate, that's a bloody bad idea for a competitive game, cause you get higher response times. (Lower is better)

Imagine updating 3 yo cpu because of unoptimized, copypasted trash from a valorant. There are better games than this. Just unninstal this game. Devs dont care about cheaters and community. Worst game in gaming history. RIP CSGO. CSGO> VALORANT > CS2 valorant edition.

I uninstalled the game today, looking for other games to play, i have standards and this game doesn't meet them.

Try valorant or older cs versions.. - css or cs 1.6. I thought, the panorama update is the worst but hell no, removing csgo is the worst part of GAMBLING history in cs. Every country should ban csgo lootboxes like in a netherlands.

mate im sorry to inform you, but the only explanation there can be why you can't see more than 150hz is due to your age.
It sounds like you are just coping or you are mad that you can't pull out more than 150 fps.
Most cs players can easily see more than 150 hz xd
Look at pro players like ropz, he has 100% success rate in identifying high refresh rate.
Also he scored 100% success rate in identifying 64 tickrate and 128 tickrate apart.
Its really just a skill issue for you...
